I am a highly experienced educational consultant regularly working with schools assisting them in developing and implementing year level and whole school change in their reading and writing programs.
Professional Development
I run professional development workshops which include PD days with international guest speakers, staff meetings and ongoing support for educators throughout the year. Its PD with a difference!
Coaching
I work individually and with teaching teams coaching pedagogical change to empower educators to develop and deliver evidence based practice founded on global research.
Workshops
I offer a range of workshops and professional development events designed specifically for each school or group of educators attending. All workshops are grounded in research from across the globe and are designed to empower education professionals to be at the cutting edge of global trends, arming educators with teaching strategies to assist their practice.

My Background
Since obtaining my Masters in Educational Studies I have been assisting schools develop and implement whole of school change across their literacy programs.
As an IB trainer I have conducted workshops across the globe and have recently returned from studying at Teachers College Columbia University in New York under world leading leading practitioners in reading and writing.
Consultancy and Advisory Support
I'm an educational consultant who loves helping teaching teams and classroom teachers to develop and implement new and innovative ways to teach literacy and reading. I also work with librarians to maintain relevance and keep up to date with the latest in evidence based practice and teaching strategies.
About Me
I am extremely passionate about teaching children to develop a love of reading and equipping them with the fundamental skills they need to take them into adult life. I have developed the Writer's Read Podcast as a tool to help children get "That Book" in their hands, the book that changes everything and turns them into readers for life!
