The Writers Read podcast exists to get THAT book in children's hands.
Inspired by this quote by Nancie Atwell:

Each episode of the Writers Read podcast features an established author who reads aloud a passage from one of their novels, leaving the listener wondering what happens next, enticing them to get THAT book in their hands. Tracey then has a chat about their reading life. There is a student reviewer and a literary expert who recommends other titles by the author.
